Fee Schedule and Rebates

We are a private billing therapy practice and require payment of fees on the day of consultation. Accounts are not able to be given. 

While most fees at this practice are below the rate recommended by the Australian Psychological Society and the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), this practice does not bulk-bill.

Fees can be paid by cash, EFTPOS or direct deposit.

Individual Initial Consultation - 50-60 min

Clinical Psychologist: $230
Mental Health Social Worker: $175

Individual Subsequent Consultation - 50-60 min

Clinical Psychologist: $220
Mental Health Social Worker: $165

Couples Initial Consultation - 90 min

$345 - Includes Gottman Relationship Check-up (subsequent report to be provided).

Couples Subsequent Consultation - 90 min

$295

Neuropsychology Assessment - approx. 4 hours

$1900+, Referral required

Reports, Letters and Forms

The cost of the report will depend on the time taken to compile it. Reports are not part of the consultation fee. However, reports and letters can be requested and a quote provided. Reports must be paid in full before the report is commenced.

Department of Veteran Affairs

Gold and White Card DVA holders will be billed via DVA (GP referral required)

NDIA

We will invoice your plan manager or NDIA directly, provided you have funding allocated for therapeutic support.

Late Payment Fee

In case of non-payment on the day of appointment, a $15 late payment fee will apply.

Late Cancellations and Missed Appointments: 50% of fee

Late-notice cancellations are defined as occurring after 4pm the day before your scheduled appointment (or after 4pm Friday for Monday appts).
100% fee for NDIS patients for less than 2 business days’ notice.

Insurance Claims

Clients will be privately billed on the first visit, UNLESS an approved/active claim number, insurance company details and referral letter from GP are provided. If your compensation matter is currently under consideration, you will be responsible for payments until your claim is approved.

Medicare Rebates

The Mental Health Treatment Plan enables you to access Medicare rebates for up to six individual sessions. After these initial six sessions, you may visit your GP and request a Mental Health Treatment Plan Review to determine whether you qualify for additional sessions. Please note that there is no Medicare rebate for Couples Counselling and Neuropsychology assessments.
Our practice allows you to claim Medicare rebates nearly instantly. Rebates are paid into a savings or cheque account linked to an EFTPOS card.
Clinical Psychologist Rebate: $137.05
Mental Health Social Worker Reabte: $82.70

Private Health Insurance

Private health insurers may provide a rebate for therapy consultations and couples counselling, depending on your insurance coverage level. Please get in touch with your private health insurer directly to determine what rebate you are eligible to for therapy consultations.
