Policies and Client Documents

Here you’ll find the key documents that explain how Macquarie Psychology operates, including fees, cancellations, privacy, telehealth, and consent.

key points

Confidentiality: What you share with your clinician is private. There are a few legal and safety exceptions (for example, serious risk of harm, mandatory reporting, or a court order). (See Treatment & Telehealth Consent / Privacy Policy.)

Your information: We collect only what’s needed to provide care and manage bookings and accounts. Clinical records are kept by your clinician; administrative records are managed by Macquarie Psychology. (See Privacy Policy.)

Fees & rebates: Fees, rebates and common appointment types are outlined in our Fee Schedule. (See Fee Schedule.)

Cancellations: Late cancellations and missed appointments may incur a fee because the session time has been reserved for you. (See Cancellation Policy.)

Telehealth: Telehealth works well for many people. Please use a private space and a stable connection; no platform can guarantee absolute confidentiality. (See Treatment & Telehealth Consent.)

Your choices: You can ask questions at any time, pause or withdraw consent, request a second opinion, or transfer your care. (See Treatment & Telehealth Consent.)

Questions or concerns: If anything is unclear, please contact us. We also outline external complaint options in our treatment information. (See Treatment & Telehealth Consent.)
