Assessment Services: Caitlin Foley is a clinical neuropsychologist, specialising in both diagnostic and rehabilitation assessments across the lifespan (see here for more information on the field of neuropsychology).
Clinical experience and roles: Caitlin has worked in a range of inpatient and outpatient settings for the Tasmanian Health Service (THS), with children, adults, and older adults, and is a Consultant Neuropsychologist for the Red Health medicolegal assessment group. She also works as a Witness Intermediary for the Department of Justice (DoJ), where she provides communication assessments and specialist recommendations to support vulnerable witnesses and defendants to navigate the court system.
Areas of interest: Caitlin’s areas of interest include traumatic brain injuries (TBI), dementias, alcohol-related brain injuries (ARBI), and assessment of neuropsychological disorders secondary to chronic health conditions (e.g. diabetes, kidney disease, liver dysfunction, etc).
Medicolegal assessments: Caitlin is happy to provide medicolegal assessments and opinions.
Age Groups: Caitlin works with adults (16 years +). Referrals for children may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
