Approach to therapy: Dr Denise Kirby is a registered clinical pschologist with a research background in mindfulness and its application into psychological functioning and general wellbeing. Denise brings a highly professional yet personal and empathic approach to meet her client’s therapy needs. Denise draws from both a scientific and a positive psychological background to help strengthen an individual’s personal wellbeing and resilience.

Areas of special interest: One of Denise’s specific areas of interest is the application and practice of personalised strengths-based interventions for treating a wide range of adult mental health conditions. 

Therapy approaches: Denise employs Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-integrated Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (MiCBT) practices to create unique and individualised therapy to meet her client’s treatment goals.
