Mr Andrew Nolan

Andrew is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working in the community and private sectors. His areas of interest include trauma and PTSD, acute stress, anxiety and depression, and adolescent mental health.

Andrew is an experienced psychotherapist, and he draws from evidence-based therapies of Mindfulness-integrated Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (MiCBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). 

Andrew enjoys working with teens and young adults to help them overcome stress, anxiety, mood disorders, and social issues.

Prior to working in private practice, Andrew worked in a variety of settings including tertiary education  (Chisholm Institute of TAFE, Victoria), Clinical (Sexual Assault Support Service), Counselling  (Parent Line Victoria), and in community settings including ten years in various youth and family service settings. 

More recently he has worked in the areas of clinical supervision, counselling, and delivering both professional development and therapeutic group programs. 

Andrew’s extensive experience and ongoing commitment to professional development remind him that the needs of each person are unique, and he takes a relaxed, welcoming, and non-judgemental approach to his work.
