Jess is a clinical psychologist and has worked in private practice since 2013. She has experience with a range of ages and presenting problems, with a special interest in adolescent mental health. Jess enjoys working with teens and young adults to help them overcome stress, anxiety and mood disorders, self harming behaviours, and social issues.
Jess believes strongly in helping people recognise their strengths, working collaboratively with the client to help them achieve their best outcome. She draws from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) , Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to help her clients recognise unhelpful patterns, accept and embrace emotions, and make desired changes in their lives.
Her approach is relaxed and welcoming, offering a safe and fun space for young people to open up and learn new skills.
Jess is a Board Approved Supervisor and is currently available for supervision sessions.
