Lucy is a registered psychologist with a strong focus on conducting diagnostic assessments for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and adults with ADHD and/or ASD to understand their strengths and challenges better and develop strategies for managing their symptoms.
Lucy’s approach to assessment is thorough and evidence-based. She believes a comprehensive evaluation can provide valuable insights and pave the way for effective treatment and support. She works closely with her clients to gather information from various sources, such as interviews, questionnaires, and standardised tests. This allows her to gain a well-rounded understanding of the individual’s functioning across different areas, including cognitive abilities, social skills, emotional regulation, and behaviour.
Through this comprehensive approach, Lucy is able to identify any underlying issues that may contribute to ADHD or ASD symptoms and tailor treatment plans accordingly. She also emphasises the importance of involving family members or caregivers in the assessment process as they can provide valuable information about the individual’s development and daily functioning.
As a registered psychologist, Lucy has completed extensive training in the assessment and diagnosis of ADHD and ASD. Lucy also stays up-to-date on the latest research and diagnostic criteria for these conditions to ensure that her assessments are thorough and accurate.
