Telehealth (consultation by video or phone) has been recommended by the Australian Government as a suitable medium to enable vital continuity of care for all clients requiring psychological assessment, treatment and / or support during the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Macquarie Psychology is providing services through this initiative for new and existing clients.

  • With a Mental Health Care Plan, you can access up to ten telehealth psychology sessions per calendar year and claim the Medicare Rebate ($128.40). It is essential that the Mental Health Care Plan is dated prior to your initial telehealth psychology session to access the services.

  • Telehealth sessions are also available for self-referred clients and clients referred under a company EAP, VoC or another 3rd party.

  • Accessing a telehealth session is simple process. When you book your telehealth session, a confirmation will be sent to the email address you provide. This confirmation will provide a link to Macquarie Psychology‘s videolink platform. At the time of your appointment simply click on the link or call the number provided and join the session with your therapist.
